In late June 2020, Dr. Ann Kox will be leaving ASV after four immensely successful years and begin a new career opportunity in Lima, Peru.
ASV is, therefore, pleased to announce the appointment of our new Preschool and Elementary Principal for 2020-2021, Dr. Yolanda Murphy-Barrena, who is currently serving as the Interim Head of Campus for Frankfurt International School – Wiesbaden (Germany).
Dr. Murphy-Barrena is an exceptionally qualified educational leader with many years of successful American and international leadership experience. She holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts Education, Master’s degrees in Teaching and Learning & Curriculum Development along with additional licensure certificates as a K-12 Principal and K-12 Superintendent. She also knows ASV after having provided leadership team and staff training on Child Protection at ASV over the past two years.

The ASV community is immensely grateful for the contributions that Dr. Kox has made to our school, and Preschool and Elementary well-positioned as a result of her collaborative efforts and leadership. We will miss Dr. Kox while we also wish her much success and happiness in her new school.
