The ASV campus returned to its usual pace with the beginning of the new academic year 2014-2015 on Monday, September 8, 2014. Assemblies and other activities were planned to ensure a friendly welcome for returning and new students.
Preschool planned a progressive admission of PreKinder 1 students from Monday, September 8 to Thursday, September 11. Also on Monday languages, ballet and sports offered in the ASV+ program started and all students were introduced to the new Dining Hall.
Elementary classes went to their classrooms during their first two periods. After lunch they attended two assemblies: one for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades and another assembly for 4th, 5th and 6th grades. These assemblies introduced school routines and procedures to students as well as the Classroom and Common Area Commitments.
High School students had two periods to meet their advisors, prepare their lockers and plan their first week. The High School assembly was used to introduce their new teachers and announce some significant events for the first school trimester.
