Alumni Talks

Alumni Visits

This past week, High School students participated in two insightful Alumni Talks led by Ismael Minuesa Orero (Class of 2023) and Álex Jiménez Carrillo (Class of 2025). These sessions offer a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the transition from ASV to higher education, whether in Spain or abroad.

Ismael, currently in his third year of a Dual Degree in Law & Global Governance, Economics and Legal Order at ESADE University (Barcelona), shared practical advice to navigate the final years of High School, from strategically choosing IB subjects to align with university requirements and career aspirations to strengthen the set of soft skills acquired at co-curricular activities such as the Model United Nations (MUN) programs. He also highlighted the long-term benefits of ASV’s multilingual environment, urging students to take full advantage of the language learning opportunities.

Joining the session virtually from New York, Álex commented on his first-year at Fordham University, where he studies Pre-Med, offering an overview of the academic and cultural experience of studying in the United States.
