Aida Pino. Innovation on Mining and Civil Works

ASV alumnus Aida Pino (Class of 2012), who is studying Chemical Engineering at Cartagena Polytechnic University, has developed an innovative product called Plasma Expansor that breaks up stones and concrete by applying pressure result of an internal chemical reaction. Plasma Expansor needs less safe distance than dynamite and other explosives.
