On Saturday, October 21, 2017 the ASV Athletic Center held three games part of the FHCV U16 girls’ hockey indoor tournament. Simultaneously our school and Xaloc Hockey Club organized a fun event including activities and challenges for ASV+ hockey players and children enrolled in other schools.
Indoor games featured three U16 girls’ teams representing Xaloc, Carpesa, and Valencia. The red team -playing as local team- won two games; Carpesa and Valencia got one loss and one draw each.
Activities promoting hockey took place outside at the Athletic Field and involved around 60 children. The event, which also celebrates the start of the hockey season in Valencia, was mentioned on several websites and local media. See also a photo album on Facebook.
