We wish to inform you that ASV is closely following weather in the province of Valencia. We have also consulted with the municipality regarding the forecast and any warnings for the municipality of Puçol.
As can be seen on the website of the 112 service, no risks have been declared for the municipalities located in the “Litoral Norte de Valencia” area (green level) although the AEMET weather forecast includes continuing through Thursday night and early Friday. Based on all available information, at this time we expect that the school will open normally tomorrow, Friday, November 16, and transportation services will operate normally. Let us add that the main school office will open earlier, at 8:00, to answer any related question from the ASV community.
However, we recommend that you monitor the ASV mobile application, the website www.asvalencia.org (Highlights section of the home page) and the rest of the school’s channels, in case there are changes that cause us to revisit this decision. To those families who bring their children in their own vehicle, be prudent and cautious and follow the usual advice given by the 112 service.
Updates on November 16
Although ASV buses left safely at 17:10, due to traffic conditions some buses are still running late. Sorry for the inconveniences and please know that ASV staff members are still at the school monitoring the progress of the buses until all bus students have arrived home safely.
