3B Assembly. Appreciation to Ms. Chelo Roig

Ms. Chelo Roig’s class offered a complete show on the topic “Showing Respect” on Friday, February 3, 2017, for their annual assembly. Students demonstrated this rule on daily situations such as being respecful during a theater play or towards the elderly.  They also danced to two of the most popular Beatles’ songs: Love Me Do and All my Loving, inviting the audience to enjoy the upcoming Valentine’s Day.

After the performance, students and other Elementary teachers and assistants showed their appreciation to Ms. Chelo Roig, as this teacher is taking a partial retirement as of March 2017 after 35 years of faithfully serving ASV, including serving as one of the first teachers of ASV at its founding in 1980.  Ms. Chelo is leaving her position as a homeroom teacher, but she will continue at ASV as Reading Support Teacher. Students and parents will miss her care and love.
