After the successful implementation of the 1:1 Learning with Technology pilot program during the previous academic year, ASV is expanding the opportunity for all Middle School (Grades 6-8) students to use a school-issued device.
To earn the privilege of using a school-issued Chromebook, students must obtain three badges. These badges will demonstrate their understanding of the device’s care, ASV’s technology expectations, and the principles of good digital citizenship.
Additionally, students will bring home the Chromebook usage agreement, which must be signed by both guardians and students. Shortly after, parents will receive instructions on configuring Mobile Guardian, a software solution that will enable them to monitor and control their child’s device usage outside of school.
