Susi Pucci (San Francisco, California, United States)
Ms. Pucci is Literacy Support Coach at ASV. This will be her 20th year in education: “I started my career in Lesotho, Southern Africa. I have since taught in California, the Dominican Republic, Thailand, Indonesia and Mexico,” she related for ASV Voices. Her first impressions about ASV are really positive: “The teachers and staff are welcoming, highly professional, dedicated, warm and kind.”
Emily Corrigan. Atlanta (Georgia, United States)
Ms. Corrigan is the new homeroom teacher in Grade 5 Blue. She studied in North Carolina, where she played volleyball and beach volleyball for the university teams. “I had always had the desire to see the world and help people along the way. Prior to coming to ASV, I taught at an international school in Turkey and at a bilingual school in Madrid,” Ms. Ms. Corrigan told. When describing Valencia, she looks excited and quickly says that she has “fallen in love with the city, from the people, the food, and simply walking and biking along the streets. It exudes so much culture.” Regarding the school community she says that “the ASV family has been so welcoming and I truly feel like a member of this team.”
Mr. Banyong is a recent addition to the ASV faculty in Middle and High School. He will be working as Substitute Teacher and Advisor for Middle School, taking Maths in grade 7, Science in grade 8 and Biology for Grade 9. He looks forward to meeting all families with children in those divisions on the upcoming parent night.
